Phil your tutor has over 36 years as a photographer and has professionally explored all aspects of photography. Phil also has 30+ years of industry knowledge and has seen the changes in cameras from film to digital. Phil has an indepth knowledge about most brands and accessories and is happy to share his experience with his students.

Over the past eleven years Phil has developed a passion for landscape photography, successfully exhibiting and selling landscape photos both commercially and privately. He now photographs landscapes purely for personal enjoyment and satisfaction.
He loves Tasmanian landscapes, and enjoys the many differences the rugged West Coast of Tasmania provides from the wilderness to the waves.

Phil has been an Adult Education Photography tutor for 9+ years and brings to his classes enthusiasm and passion for his subject along with a wealth of knowledge. Phil’s students love his style of teaching and are amazed by the photos they end up with. Phil provides extensive notes and information to all of his students as well as practical ‘hands on’ training.
