German Conversation

Course description

For those who have completed at least 3 years (180 hours) of adult eductation German or its equivalent, and are confident enough to speak. Converse on a range of topics and refresh grammar points.

What your course will cover

You will consolidate your language skills and practise your conversation skills in a relaxed atmosphere in a reasonably small group. Topics will be chosen with a view to extending the range of subjects about which you can converse and will be guided by the wishes of the group. Please be ready to have your say! The tutor will refresh grammar points when needed. Please also understand that there may be variations in the standard of German within the group.


Language courses from level 2 up are continuations from the previous level. New students: you are strongly advised to examine the content of the lower level course and be confident that you are already competent at that level.

What to bring

  • Folder for your notes, and a pen and notebook for class work.
  • German/English dictionary.

Please note that children must not attend this class unless it is a specified parent/child activity.

Please choose your course carefully. A full refund is payable in the event that a class is cancelled. No other refunds are considered except for extenuating circumstances which are supported by a written application.
